STARMARK MSA VISA CHECK CARD PROGRAM
Star Marketing and Administration, Inc. (Starmark) announced a partnership with American Health Value, L.L.C. of Boise, Idaho to market a Medical Savings Account (MSA) with high deductible medical insurance plans through a Visa check card, effective January 1, 1997.

GIANT VISA CRASHES
More cracks are showing in co-branded rebate credit card deals as Buffalo-based M&T Bank is attempting to terminate its relationship with Washington, D.C.-based supermarket chain, Giant Food Inc. because the nine-month-old VISA program will lose between $9 million and $14 million in its first year for M&T.
